The West Coast rapper (born Jayceon Taylor) is being accused of making criminal threats, possessing a firearm in a school zone, and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer after allegedly getting into a fight during a pick-up game of basketball.
The alleged incident went down at South L.A.'s Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex on February 24 of last year. The Game pled not guilty to all charges in September and was looking at five years if convicted.
Now The Game has changed his mind, opting to save his money instead of fight the case. In the debut issue of new hip-hop magazine MONSTA, Game says that he's copping to guilt in court, even though he's really innocent.
"The crazy part about this is that I've had guns before in my life," he explained. "But this time I didn't have a gun. And because one person said I had a gun and coaxed his homies into saying that I had a gun, I'm in a predicament where I'm asking, Do I want to spend another million dollars to fight this trial so who knows what jury's gonna come in and say I'm guilty? Or do I want to save my money, go sit down for four months and accept this felony they're trying to give me for no reason?"
Game reveals the news of his four month bid in the premiere issue of MONSTA magazine, a new venture from the former Source magazine owners Dave Mays and Raymond "Benzino" Scott.
Benzino recently told SOHH in an earlier interview, that MONSTA is poised to crush the competition.
"We're coming right after The Source, XXL, Vibe and Complex," he told SOHH exclusively. "I don't even know if [Complex] is selling that many magazines, but them too. Give us one year and believe me we'll be knocking The Source, XXL, Vibe and all of the other mags out the box."
The debut issue of MONSTA hits newsstands on February 12.

Following his release from prison last week, The Game released his first 'buzz single' "Big Dreams," from his third solo album - entitled "Los Angeles Times."
During a performance last Saturday, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Game announced to the crowd that his third and possibly final album will be released on June 24th 2008 - the first day of summer. With his Cool and Dre produced single - which can be downloaded below - already working its way around radio and online The Game had this to say about the album;
"I have a highly controversial album coming this summer, and not the typical controversy you are used to in rap. On LAX I'm addressing real issues that other artists might be scared to talk about on record; issues that need to be heard."

After much speculation that 50 Cent could and would budge The Game's June 24th release date for his own G-Unit release, the Compton rapper's release date has changed - and he's saying that it is on his own accord. "I will drop my album on July 8th in order to clean up the mess 50 [Cent] made with his new release on July 1st. I thank all my fans for their support on the new single, "Pain" featuring Keyshia Cole said The Game to HipHopDX in a statement made through his Black Wall Street Records executives. Inside sources are claiming that while The Game's L.A.X. is no longer releasing on the day originally planned, G-Unit's Terminate On Sight also lost the June release. With this shuffle in the dates, sources may question whether The Game actually pulled the strings at Interscope. According to 50 Cent, The Game has three remaining albums in his contract, which 50 Cent helped broker, and still reportedly is a financially beneficiary at the west coast-based label. Meanwhile, 50 Cent has one remaining solo release with the label he's been signed to since 2003, as well as an upcoming solo greatest hits collection. Interscope has yet to comment in the matter
